Release the emotional burden
A deep sense of relief comes when we realise that some of the mental burden that we've been carrying has lifted, no matter if fully or partially. The same applies when we or one of our loved ones gets better after physical or mental illness. Sometimes I hear from my clients 'I didn't know or even remember that life can be so good' or 'I didn't realise how much I was dealing with but I can see it now'. The overwhelm we feel when problems start piling up can easily lead to a burnout or even mental breakdown. As an educator I feel like we all need to learn and further develop some coping techniques to avoid getting to the 'breaking point'. Having as part of our routine some time to release 'the weight' of everything that's happening is the key. Let's make it a priority. For us and for our children.
